Log manifolds just do not replicate the flow dynamics and scavenging effects of equal length, and thermal efficiency isn't going to their saving grace when we're talking performance.

See every comparison dyno chart ever posted for details.

For caveats about reliability, wrapping, underhood heat, etc, please read Techno's post. He said perfectly.
